Top picks for form builders

Forms! Forms! Forms!

Forms are a great way to interact with your customers. They can be used for a variety of interactions including but not limited to order products and services, requesting information and providing feedback. However they are a headache to get right developers and users alike. However, they are great companies making adding forms to your website with no hassle or coding skills required with intuitive visual drag and drop interfaces. Here's my top picks.

1. Google Forms from Google Docs

Google Docs is great for creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations but did you know it's great for forms too? Yep, and it won't cost you a thing.

2. Wufoo

If you're looking for something more professional and with extra feature such as integration with your newsletter service, accepting payments from paypal then Wufoo is a great service. It personal plan is at great price point for small businesses and its interface is very easy to create forms. Their support is great and they provide a lot of articles on customizing your forms. They even have pre-made, optimized forms that are designed to generate leads for a variety of business cases.

3. Formstack

Formstack is the best alternative to Wufoo and it some ways better for the similar price point they compete. It provides much of what Wufoo offers and has no limit to amount of fields you can put on a form on their paid plans unlike Wufoo who limits you to 100.

4. Email Me Form

Email Me Form is another great alternative to Wufoo and Formstack with a drag and drop interface, a great theme gallery and easy to use interface.

For Surveys

Surveys are a great way to find out important information from your customers and gain feedback. You don't need to look any further than Survey Monkey.

Email Newsletters / Subscriptions

This is more than just a form builder, its a comprehensive email marketing service but you need sign up /subscribe forms. I highly recommend MailChimp.

For WordPress websites, I highly recommend

These two plugins.

Both of these have free and premium versions.

If you currently using another service I didn't mention and think its great, leave a comment. Also if you need any assistance with implementing any of these service don't hesitate to get in contact.
